“Hello, your package has arrived.”
Brian Tennant rang the villa’s doorbell while donning a courier uniform.
“Okay, coming!”
When the door was finally opened, Brian was shocked.
The person who opened the door was his girlfriend, Rosy Stevens!
She had a disheveled and provocative appearance.
Her body was pushed against a man whose face was covered in lipstick marks.
It was Jonathan Sanders, the famous school playboy!
There was a sudden crisp sound.
Brian let go of the package, and it hit the ground, breaking into pieces.
“Rosy?” Brian’s heart shattered, unable to take in what he was seeing.
His fingers trembled slightly as he roared, “For the past two years, I not only paid for all of your necessities but also did deliveries to pay for your mother’s medical expenses.
However, you still refused even to let me touch your hands. I believed you were a woman of morals and virtue.
But you’re now hooking up with another man. What made you do that? Don’t you have compassion for me?”
A trace of panic flashed across Rosy’s face.
While she was trying to come up with the right words, Jonathan sneered, “Rosy always said you were a loser. Even the term ‘loser’ doesn’t describe you well!”
He made a disdainful scowl as he pointed to the damaged package.
He didn’t even feel alarmed when Brian found that Rosy had hooked up with him.
He even had a hint of arrogance for he knew Rosy never took Brian seriously.
Thus, Brian had no say in what Rosy could do.
The worry on Rosy’s face vanished as she pulled up her collar to cover her cleavage.
“Don’t you realize how impoverished you are? You can only earn less than 3000 dollars a month! How can you be compared with Jonathan?”
The more she spoke, the more agitated she became. Pointing at Brian, she continued to yell, “You still won’t be able to catch up with Jonathan even if you work for another 100 years! You will forever be a loser!”
Brian clenched his knuckles firmly, turning them white, as his face twisted in anguish and rage.
“So it’s all because I am poor, right?”
Jonathan held his head high and replied, “Yes! I can humiliate you because you are not as wealthy as I am! Do you understand?”
Brian felt the rage rising inside him.
His phone abruptly rang just as he was about to speak.
He froze when he heard the special ringtone.
Something seemed to dawn on him, and he quickly answered it. “Hello?”
An old voice said, “Mr. Tennant, it’s your butler, Charles Bailey. Congratulations. Your five-year mental training program is now complete. You can now employ all of your abilities going forward. You are also rewarded with the Megatitan Group, worth trillions of dollars on the market.”
Brian took a deep breath and asked in disbelief, “Is it finally over?”
Charles said respectfully, “You’ve endured a lot during these years. Do I need to bring your girlfriend back to the Tennant family now that you’ve finished the family trial so your mother can meet her and formally introduce her as your girlfriend?”
Brian glared at Rosy and sneered, “There is no need. Rosy won’t be brought to the Tennant family and introduced as my girlfriend. She simply doesn’t deserve it!”
